I bought a copy of this for a friend and picked one up for myself while I was about it. This was the first Asimov book I read, and the only book I managed to sit and read page after page after page without stopping which is not something I tend to do much - reading half the stories within a day. The stories are hard SF, dealing with robotics and interactions with people from many different angles. Having read this book I would not be surprised if robots developed more along these lines incorporating Asimov's laws. My favourite story in the book was 'The Bicentenniel Man'. |
