Jessica Barone's Website
Jessica Barone is a resident of Enfield, Connecticut. She lives at home with her family.
Her love of reading came at an early age as a result of tutoring by her late grandmother,
Josephine Barone.
Ms. Barone began to write her first novel, Eternal Night, at the age of 13, in 1991. She attended
Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, received an Associates of Science in General Studies
in 1997. She also attended Bay Path College, received a Bachelor's of Arts in Liberal Studies
in 2000. In 2001, she graduated from Elms College with a Master's of Arts in Liberal Arts.
Ms. Barone’s passions are writing, reading, history, and art. She uses historical and geological
fact in all her works, tying the fiction close to actual places, and events. She believes the
closer you bring a work of fiction to the truth, the better you will be able to pull a reader
into your tale.
Ms. Barone has traveled abroad to Canada, France, and Ireland. She also believes that experiencing different
cultures can have a profound effect on the way one views the world, and will lead to better
understanding in writing.
