Development Director, Journalism Advisor, and Award-Winning Author, Annette
Blair, began writing in 1987, and became an overnight success with her first
sale eleven years later. That process has made each of her books and writing
awards that much sweeter. Her tenacity is legendary, though some just call
her stubborn. With thirteen novels contracted to date--all spicy, sassy, and
sexy--Annette considers romance a celebration of life. After ten
historicals, Annette turned to writing single-title, contemporary romantic comedies,
and she loves her new home at Berkley.
Her work has garnered Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice and Holt Medallion
nominations. She has won Booksellers' Best Awards, Lories Awards, Laurel
Wreath Awards, Blue Boa Awards of Excellence, Aspen Gold Awards, A Southern Magic
Award of Excellence, RIO Awards of Excellence, and Beacon Awards of
Excellence. With My Favorite Witch, she hit the BookScan, Barnes & Noble, and Target
Bestseller Lists. The Scot, the Witch & the Wardrobe, the third in the
series will be released in January of 2007.
