Anne

A light, refreshing story set solely on an island off the coast of Greece. Amelia, trying to recover from a serious head injury that affects her mind and body, visits her mother and guests at an island villa. Amelia intends to relax and recuperate but the island has other ideas and the guests may not be quite as innocent as they seem.

Characters
Very small in number and mostly women, they are well described and not overdone. The few male characters are very different, both bodily and psychologically. They all contrast beautifully with each other.

Plot
A simple plot centres almost solely on one villa and its inhabitants. The story could have become boring and repetitive but it moves along easily with changing events and personal revelations. The ending is fairly predictable.

General
A good, solid story. Easy to pick up at any time. Well written and uncomplicated.
