What can I say but Wow! This is a superb book. Eddings (and Eddings) have once again written an outstanding fantasy epic. This book contains a lot of the usual things you expect from an Eddings book. We have definite bad guys, we have good guys who are bit rogueish, we have gods interacting with mortals, we have men living for centuries, and we have a plethora of marriages and everything is lovey-dovey!!!!

This said though, the plot and the writing style make this a wonderful read. Maybe I am just a sucker for all this but what the hey!
