J.V. Harlee is the pen-name of two authors, Jennifer L.B. Leese & Valerie Hardin, used for their collaborations.

Jennifer LB Leese is a 32-year-old mother of three from Maryland working on becoming a successful writer in all genres. Mrs. Leese is open-minded and ready to learn more about the art and business of writing. She always knew that writing was just something she had to do. The creating, crafting, and construction of words are a deep passion of hers and she is always available to anyone who may have questions, comments, or similar interests.

As half of JV Harlee, Jennifer writes gothic, horror novels for teenagers with published author Valerie Hardin. Their first book titled, "Gargoyle Tears". Valerie Hardin was born in 1974 in upstate New York. Valerie is now a published gothic poet, children's ebook writer, and artist. Her poetry and fiction have been published in the underground magazines and small press publications. She is one of the pioneers in children's ebook writing.

Valerie Hardin had a recipe included in the rare print charity cookbook Conjuring Dark Delicacies Other contributes include, Tim Curry, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Gak, and Christine DeLong Miller.

Valerie was nominated for INSCRIPTIONS ENGRAVER AWARD 2001 for favorite poet of the year. She lives in the Midwest and is working on her next novel with Jennifer LB Leese under the name JV Harlee.
