Angeline Hawkes

A.K.A. Angeline Hawkes-Craig

Angeline Hawkes has been a published writer/poet since 1981. Combining her love of history with her quest for telling a "good yarn", she loves to write both historical and horror fiction and finds it satisfying when the two come together for a hauntingly historical tale. She received her B.A. in Composite English Language Arts in 1991, from East Texas State University, where she was a member of Sigma Tau Delta (English Honor Society). She taught High School and Junior High (British Literature, English, Journalism, Speech/Debate, Reading).

Her latest fantasy novel entitled The Swan Road was published by Scars Publications in September 2002.  She is at work on the sequel entitled Pasha of Ghazni and another fiction novel concurrently.  Angeline resides in Texas and is a member of the Writer's League of Texas.

Presently, she  is one of  a  few authors chosen to be involved in an all female authored speculative fiction anthology entitled: Femmes de La Brume: A Collection of Speculative Fiction. This ground-breaking anthology of horror, fantasy, science fiction, alternate history and all the subgenres thereof  is being published  in Spring of 2003 by Double Dragon Publishing.
