Angeline Hawkes Information and Links
A.K.A. Angeline Hawkes-Craig
Angeline Hawkes has been a published writer/poet since 1981. Combining
her love of history with her quest for telling a "good yarn", she loves to write
both historical and horror fiction and finds it satisfying when the two come
together for a hauntingly historical tale. She received her B.A. in Composite
English Language Arts in 1991, from East Texas State University, where she was a
member of Sigma Tau Delta (English Honor Society). She taught High School and
Junior High (British Literature, English, Journalism, Speech/Debate, Reading).
Her latest fantasy novel entitled The Swan Road was published by Scars
Publications in September 2002. She is at work on the sequel entitled Pasha
of Ghazni and another fiction novel concurrently. Angeline resides in Texas
and is a member of the Writer's League of Texas.
Presently, she is one of a
few authors chosen to be involved in an all female authored speculative fiction
anthology entitled: Femmes de La Brume: A Collection of Speculative Fiction.This
ground-breaking anthology of horror, fantasy, science
fiction, alternate history and all the subgenres thereof is being published in
Spring of 2003 by Double Dragon Publishing.
