Jenny Crane knew what her friend Melane went through last year in The Givenchy Code, but she thought that was all over; the game was over, until her computer brings her a message not from ebay, but from PSW saying she's in the game. Weird as that is, the truly outlandish part is, she's the Protector for Devlin Brady, a friend of Mel's husband, an FBI agent. The Assassin seems to be playing an even more deadly game. However, Brady does not want to play; he's in a state of depression. But when people begin to die and Jenny's life is on the line, the agent shakes off his lethargy and begins playing to survive and win. This time, the game is personal, though neither Brady nor Jenny knows that. With the clock ticking, New York becomes the mazelike playing field. If you like to think, then this is the book for you. Be warned though, if you start this book block out time to read it all at once. It's impossible to put down once you start. Forget The DaVinci Code; this is much more fun, more clever, engaging, intriguing, and far less likely to start an argument. |
