This is a wonderful beginning to a now legendary series. Humor and hearbreak blend with fast paced, yet comprehensible action to form a solid novel. Yes, there is much sensuality, but it's done in a way that if you have more delicate tastes, you can skip those scenes and lose nothing. This appears to be true of all the books so far.
