A paranormal Christmas short story. 3 days before Christmas Terra is traveling home in a driving snow storm over mountain roads when she has to swerve to avoid hitting the man lying in a heap in the middle of the road. Unconscious and barefoot she struggles to get him into her vehicle. With the storm getting worse, and no cell coverage, her best hope is to take him to her cabin and call for help but by the time she gets him there and into the cabin, the storm has knocked out power and phones effectively stranding them in her cabin. When the returning power awakens her and she checks on her patient, she is amazed to see the bruises gone and vicious gash on his head only a pink scar, and she can't help but admire the gorgeous physique, but it's his incredible eyes that capture her full attention and the hunger in them is not simply for food but for her. In the passionate interlude that follows, Cassius claims his mate and though Terra has yet to understand completely what that means, she too knows that something much more monumental than great sex has just occurred. The question though, is will she be able to accept the secrets Cassius keeps and embrace something totally unknown? And will they become each others ultimate Christmas present? Sherri King has given us a lovely short tale filled with the erotic intensity fated mates share. If you're looking for a short romantica tale with a bit of Christmas spirit, and a lot of passion, then sit back and enjoy, this is one delightful tale, wolf tail that is. |
