Steele father sold him when he was 13 years old to the Sterling project and a man named William Murdock, and it was the best thing to happen to him in his young life. The Sterling project was developed to help those with unusual gifts to understand and how to use them for positive purposes.

When Marla Rivers comes home after being in a coma for a year, she has unusual abilities but is unable to control them. She is approached by two men from the Siren Corporation and when she refuses to accept their offer, they try to convince her at gun point. Just as they are attempting to persuade her at gunpoint she has to go with them Steele bursts through the front door coming immediately to her rescue. Will she be able to trust Steele to keep her safe and teach her what she needs to know to deal with her gifts?

Steele is a happy-ever-after novella, filled with deliciously sweet, but very sexy interludes. I hope the subsequent novels are longer but even so it should be an entertaining new series.

Synopsis
After a year-long coma, Marla has returned home from the hospital. But something about her has changed. Something unbelievable.

Brian Steele, a vigilante and ex-underground boxer, has come into Marla's life to protect her and help her understand her strange new abilities. But before long, he also has plans to seduce her down to her very soul.

How will Marla, still weak and confused, cope with such a virile man as Steele? She doesn't know, but she's ready to learn. As soon as possible.
