Third in the Mageverse series, Master of the Moon combines the Sidhe and the DireKind, shapeshifters in a fight that if lost may well mean the end of the Sidhe.

Diana London is a small town administrator who also works for the Verdaville Police department and when she is called to the scene of a particularly gruesome murder, she knows she is dealing with something both evil and magical. Add the brutal murders to Diana's Burning Moon time and she knows she's in for some intense times.

Llyr Galatyn is the King of the Cachamwri Sidhe, his brother, Ansgar, King of the Morven Sidhe, and they have been forbidden to kill each other. Though forbidden on pain of death, that has not stopped Ansgar from hiring assassins to kill Llyr's wives, children and lovers and when yet another assassination attempt on Llyr's life fails, Llyr decides he has had enough.

When Llyr strikes a deal with Merlin to help eliminate the evil minions scattered all over mortal earth by Geirolf in an evil death spell, he is amazed to see a photo of Diana, the women in his erotic dreams, in a murder investigation of seeming paranormal nature and knows this is where he must go.

With the town in a panic over another gruesome murder, Diana is summoned to her office to greet FBI agents, but when she arrives she discovers not FBI agents but the King on the Fairies and his body guards, and the king is the very image of the man in her Burning Moon dreams, how impossible is that, she's a werewolf, DireKind the defender of human kind, and he the King of the Sidhe.

Through treachery, Ansgar has discovered Llyr's quest on earth to help destroy the murdering minions, and has erased the trail of the evil one, following her back to her lair and forcing her to kill Llyr for him. Now, unknowingly, Llyr will be battling the minion enhanced by Ansgar's powers. In the ensuing battle Llyr's bodyguard contingent is killed and his powers are stripped, leaving Diana the sole guardian of both the human population of her town and the King of the Sidhe.

Can Diana battle both the town's people and the evil King Ansgar and keep Llyr, the man she loves, alive. Will Llyr be able to call the legendary powers of the God Cachamwri and save Diana and his people?

This is a very entertaining story in a great series. Characters from myth and legend populate a riveting storyline with passion and verve creating a shadow universe to protect humankind from evil.
