Members of a drug syndicate are being killed in a savage manner, without any obvious means of entry or escape for the killer. One homicide detective suspects a supernatural cause and investigates along with his female partner.

Plot
An unusual and very compelling plot with many aspects and one that springs many surprises on the reader along the way. There is a love interest but this is handled in a way as to not be distracting from the horror story itself. There must have been comprehensive research on the superntural for this book. The cause of the killings is only gradually revealed through the book adding to the suspense generated for the reader.

Characters
Real, believable characters with real feelings, drives and reactions. And as for the 'villain' there are emotions of the purest evil. The opposites contained in this book blend together to make a really exciting read.

General
An unmissable horror story. The suspense holds together wonderfully right to the very end of the book. The slow revealling of the evil adds wonderfully to a general sense of foreboding and overall menace. Superb!
