Two psychologically different creatures escape from an experimental laboratory. Different agencies are desperate to recapture them. One is befriended and gains a loving home...

Plot
Excellent and unusual configuration. Set in a small state in the US, Watchers has a clear and concise plot from start to finish. The reader becomes quickly ensnared and it becomes difficult not to peek at the conclusion.

Characters
Completely believable and down-to-earth. No too emotional, which could have easily happened considering the circumstances. The creatures are well written. One of them definitely has the "aaah" factor!

General
An excellent book. "Gentle" horror with a complex story so believable that the plot could almost be documentary or biographical if were not for Mr Koontz's usual touches. Super!
