Lisa Lee Information and Links
Lisa Lee has been a self-avowed bookworm ever since she can recall. She wrote
her first story (unpublished) at age 6. Growing up in the small town of
Kangar in Perlis, Malaysia, she had ample time to read and was influenced by
such visionaries as George MacDonald and J.R.R. Tolkien.
While working as the editor of school magazines, Lisa wrote several articles
for the youth sections of Malaysian newspapers. Her greatest passion has always
been fiction, preferably the Fantasy genre.
As a daughter in a liberated (more-or-less) family of women in a
traditional, multiculturally-structured Southeast Asian society, she writes from
observations on daily life and dynamics of the male-female power struggle. This
provided the rich and intricate background for Morevi.
At the moment Lisa is studying at the University of New South Wales in Australia
and is exploring the possibilities and opportunities on the Internet, writing
for assorted sites including 3AM Publishing. This is her first novel, and she has
already outlined the skeleton of another Fantasy series and future writing with
her "partner of the pen" in the United States, Tee Morris.
