San Francisco Police Lieutenant Larry Foggia is persuaded to investigate a serial killer, 'Fog City Satan'.
The case is not straightforward, leading into Satanism and Spiritualism and Larry soon becomes personally involved.
Characters
The main character is written solidly and logically but is unusually resilient and emotionless. The
sub-characters are cold, callous and manipulating. Very vividly described.
Plot
A fast-moving plot, well organised with a logical conclusion. Each chapter has very descriptive horror
content and spine-chilling moments which lead you to the hard uncompromising events in the books conclusion.
General
In places this is a little over-descriptive in its horror, the book seems to have been written to surprise
and shock. At times it is very hard to stomach. This is not a book for the faint-hearted and might not be
the best thing to read last thing at night.
