In this book Elric returns to Melniboné at the head of a mighty fleet of warships to take his revenge on the cousin who has usurped Elric's throne and to rescue his beloved Cymoril. This would seem to be enough story to fill a book of this length (or even a longer one), but that is only the first of three tales featuring Moorcock's albino sorcerer prince in this book.

This continues the Elric series at the incredibly fast pace seen in the first two books, with characterisation and detail again being the losers in the mix. If this is your style then read this.
