Andrew, who just qualifies as a child of the sixties, co-authored Around the World in Eighty Pages with Darren Laws and edited and compiled the Medway and Maidstone Writers Group's first book "Mixed Nuts."

He's also a Sci Fi freak, amateur photographer and castle collector. In fact he has visited EVERY ONE of his native England's 1,400 castles during seven years research for the definitive, illustrated book on the subject.

"A good deal of writing is necessary to bring small piles of stones to life in a book," he says.

The great love he developed for the variety, splendour and history of his country are often reflected in his stories.
