Nominated in the same year for both the International Horror Guild Award and the Bram Stoker Award, Joseph Nassise is the author of three novels, a fiction collection, and a number of short stories. He has also done work in both the comics and role-playing game industries.

Elected President of the Horror Writers Association in 2001, Joe served in that position until Nov. 2005, the twelfth individual to hold the post. Past presidents have included Dean Koontz, Charles Grant, and Brian Lumley. He has recently been asked to serve as a member of the Horror Channel's Creative Advisory Board.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, he currently lives with his wife and four children in Arizona.
