Book Four of the Fallen Gods Series is an erotic romp with one of the Fallen Gods, Ares, a much lighter story than Ms O'Clare's, Nuworld series but nevertheless quite entertaining.

Nikita Povlechic works for Joseph Black and the Centauri Agency, an agency that polices supernatural activity in our normal world. As an agent she has spent lots of time in dangerous situations, but this assignment just feels wrong.

When she's sent to Cedar Falls, Iowa presumably as bait for a known demon boss, she is unaware that the request has not come from her boss but rather the demon boss himself, Julian Artos. With little information to go on in regards to her cover or her end purpose and even less time to think about it Nikita finds herself in Cedar Falls and the house that's part of her cover.

Awakened from a deep sleep, feeling as if she in no longer alone, she is surprised to find herself in the company of a naked, and very well endowed warrior who introduces himself as Ares. What he tell her confuses her but also gives some validity to the feelings that something is really wrong with this assignment, but she never even considered that she might be more than bait, but rather a gift to the new Demon Lord.

Arriving at the restaurant for a predetermined meeting with Artos, Nikita is swamped with misgivings, and she has learned from her time in the field to listen to those feeling and get out, fast. Making a quick exit, she returns to the house she is supposedly based at to find a clean up crew there, the type they send in after an agent is dead, confirming this was indeed a set up and she was not expected to walk away.

Throwing in with Ares seems like the only logical idea since it would appear that Black and the Centauri Agency has somehow been compromised. With Ares assistance she will have to determine who to trust and how to neutralize the demon threat.

This is a delightful read, with a lust god, a feisty heroine and some real nasties to defeat in order to save humanity. Embracing Temptation would make a wonderful weekend or beach novel and is a yummy addition to a fun series.

Synopsis
Nikita Povlechic has been with Centauri Agency since she left the force. Dangerous assignments have become her life. Nikita needs a quick lesson in what is out there, what exists beyond what she can see. And the quickest way to convince a stubborn woman, trained to kill, how to submit and trust in a warrior god is to seduce her. Ares sets out to do just that.

His desire to protect Nikita turns from an erotic seduction into a battle of wills. For a man used to getting what he wants, his toughest battle yet may be taming his fiesty little warrior woman.
