Another supernatural / futuristic / mythological adventure. All of the main characters complete their "Quest". This novel is set in Australia, present day, and also in prehistoric times. There are two additional archetypal English characters that add a touch of humour to the proceedings.

Characters
The main characters are just as believable as before. The two new English people are (to another English person) a little over-the-top but are very amusing. The pre-historic natives are very well described and seem realistically placed within their surroundings.

Plot
A very interesting plot coming to a logical conclusion. The various storylines take place across a number of time periods and were a little hard to follow. However, these all came together beautifully and the plot was fascinating combining pre-history, future, myths and a lovely example of wishful thinking at the end.

General
A well written book, more complex than the first two but very enjoyable. Oh, but the world could really be as described in the conclusion.

So, where does the story go now? For this, the 3rd novel in the Glass House trilogy, Ariana Overton combines forces with her husband Max and produces what is, in my opinion, the best book of the three!

Our main characters, in an attempt to locate their missing daughter, venture back into the Australian bush. During the tale they meet up with a couple more English archaeologists who initially seem to be there just to provide cups of tea and a saucepan full of curry. Eventually, as the tale progresses, they become integral members of the team. As the story comes to its conclusion the authors reveal a couple of nice little twists that complement the rest of the story.

An excellent conclusion to a superb series of books!
