Lita has come before the Controllers to request a year of time to experience human emotions in a human dimension so that as a Polgaran Pleasure Goddess she will be able to incorporate that knowledge into giving greater pleasure to others, or at least that what she says. What she really wishes is to experience the intensity of human emotions but what she gets far exceeds even her imagination.

Dropped on present day earth, in New York City on Christmas Eve, inadequately dressed for the bitter cold, Lita is swept up by a gracious woman coming home from shopping, but it is the touch of the woman's brother who sparks a deep recognition.

A year ago Ben had gone missing, reappearing on his sisters doorstep four days later, physically alright but mentally blank. Lita could sense Ben's spirit trying to reassert itself when she touched him, but he was lost deep within himself and couldn't find his way back. Lita feels compelled to help him even knowing it's against the very laws allowing her to be on earth, and knowing that her heart will break when she is forced to leave him to protect them both from the penalties for breaking those laws. Fate, however, has other ideas and finds a most interesting way to bring them back together, even though it may mean losing everything.

Will Lita be able to protect Ben from the heartache he will suffer when she is forced to leave, and will Lita ever be able to function as a pleasure giver again having known her heart mate?

This is one of the sweetest, sexiest paranormal holiday stories I've read, and I enjoyed it immensely as I know you will.

Synopsis
