This is one of those SF books that has what might, at first, be seen as an unusual and possible dull storyline. We have an Alien Art Historian hired to trace pictures painted of what seems to be the same woman at various times throughout history.

This, however, is a thoroughly engrossing book from an author who has not let me down as yet. I have read a number of his books and all of them so far have been worth recommending.
