Gitana is not defenseless though; she is a powerful Witch in her own right and has warded her property against anyone who wants to do her harm. Is Sebastian the Demon prophesized to be her mate and if he is, how can he be the one to give her a child when Vampires cannot reproduce? It turns out the Sebastian has some talents unique to even a Master Vampire and once the match is consummated some interesting changes appear to both Sebastian and Gitana.

Mandy Roth is an inventive writer of romantica and I have enjoyed her previous books. Gypsy Nights starts with a great premise and shows terrific promise, good plot, great characters but the book lacks the depth in what should have been really interesting characters. I personally think that if this book was fleshed out it would go from be a good read to a great read as this plot line has the potential to be worked into an entertaining series. The adult situations seem to be a bit gratuitous and more for shock value that good erotica. True, this is a shorter story, but I really found myself wishing it were a longer story with fuller character and background development.
