This is simply a delightful series and though this review is for Totally Spellbound, each book in the series is a totally enchanting journey into a magical world coexisting with our mundane world. This series is the epitome of feel good novels with a wonderful paranormal twist.

When Megan Kineally received an urgent call from her brother Travers to come to Las Vegas and look after her beloved nephew Kyle, it seemed like a godsend. Megan was tired and disenchanted with her job as a child psychologist and this was as good an excuse as any to finish shutting down her practice in Los Angeles. She wasn't prepared to have her wish for the traffic and bright lights to disappear to be granted, nor for the gorgeous man in leathers with a hawk to appear just in front of her. Nor was she prepared to accept the things that would be reveled to her upon arriving at the suite her brother had rented for her. That in itself was a very weird occurrence as Travers was notoriously tight with his money. Fate, make that The Fates, were about to turn her world upside down.

Rob Chapeau, billionaire playboy extraordinaire was completely taken aback to see this curvy woman enter his magical bubble, never in his long existence had anyone ever entered one of his magical bubbles, but there she was, and a vision of soft curves and deep green eyes. Of course his alter ego as the Robin Hood of magical legend is also brought into play to save the damsel, well damsels in distress, in this case, even though he has hated The Fates for millennia for refusing to save the life of Marion, his long ago wife.

Together they must find a way to reconcile the fate of The Fates, recover an ancient spinning wheel to restore The Fates powers, aid a father and daughters, albeit a very magically powerful family in finding a balance between them, and save true love. Not much to ask from child psychologist, and an assortment of mystic beings. Is it?

A great adventure by a very talented writer, who also writes as Kathryn Kristine Rusch, and is the author of the Retrieval Artist Series and a ton of books in the Star Trek genre. This lady is a true wonder, and I'm glad she has chosen to share with us the many facets of a fabulous imagination and true writing talent.
