Mario's Frankenstein: The Sequel Website
Mario Marcel Salas first
became acquainted with Mary Shelley's Frankenstein when his mother read
the story to him on his tenth birthday. For years he was captivated by the tale
and his interest grew even more when he studied the classic as an undergraduate
student at the University of Texas at San
Antonio. This sequel to the Frankenstein story is an ambitious attempt to
recapture the soul of one of the greatest literary tales of sorrow ever
told.
Mr. Salas completed his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio and received
his Masters in Education from Our Lady of the
Lake University. He has an Associate in Applied Science in Engineering, an
Associate in Arts, and an Honorary Doctorate from Guadalupe College. Mr. Salas
is also an amateur astronomer and enjoy reading, model rocketry, free lance
writing, public speaking, and debating the current theories of physics. He is
currently a certified educator in the San
Antonio School District and was, until recently, an elected official serving as a City Councilman for the City of
San Antonio.
Mr. Salas has received many awards for his activities in human
rights, including recognition from the State of Texas for initiation of the Martin Luther King Jr. State Holiday.
Mario Marcel Sales is a member of Mount Zion
First Baptist Church and is married to Edwina L. Salas. They have three children. The
author plans to write several more sequels to classic works of
fiction.
