After saving the town from Zombie attack, Bruce Vincent was given a good deal on a 99 year lease of an old manor house by the local business community. Although she could have remained as manager of the omelette shop, Roxanne chose to follow her beloved Bruce. As Bruce plans the layout of his new restaurant, Roxanne begins to wonder why the towns folk were so keen on their taking over the lease. When strange things start to happen, Bruce and Roxanne make a few enquiries and find that the house is haunted. What on earth are they going to do now?

This is the second of the Bruce and Roxanne stories and it follows on well from the first instalment. Bruce is still blissfully unaware of the affect he has on Roxanne (although he believes he is irresistible to the rest of womankind). The storyline, if treated seriously would have made a nice little ghost story but with the added humour of Bruce and Roxanne it becomes a wonderfully relaxing, enjoyable laugh. Sometimes you just want something simple and fun to read without the ties of a weighty tome – Bruce and Roxanne are perfect.

I would love to see a number of the Bruce and Roxanne tales together as a book of short stories.
