Whilst eating breakfast one rainy morning, Bruce Vincent finds a gold shamrock in his cereal. This lucky charm is the winning game piece in a competition to win a holiday in Ireland. After checking into their B&B, both Bruce and Roxanne decide, separately, to go for a walk on the moor. As you might expect, Bruce is not able to do this without getting himself into trouble. This time he meets a rather large leprechaun who accuses Bruce of trying to steal his gold. After a few pints of stout, the leprechaun decides that he would like Roxanne to be his wife whilst his sister, Liobhan, has the hots for Bruce. So, how will Bruce and Roxanne get out of this one? As I have said previously, I am a big fan of the Bruce and Roxanne stories. Each one takes around ten minutes to read and, without fail, they leave me with a smile. Bruce is so thoughtless and clumsy it gives him a wonderful appeal and Roxanne is so devoted to her man you just want to shake her and tell her to see sense! They are so perfectly matched as a couple and yet you begin to wonder if Bruce will ever make an honest woman out of Roxanne. After managing to resurrect an army of zombies, buy a haunted mansion and become a werewolf you would think that Bruce would learn to be a little more cautious – nah! In this latest instalment Bruce manages to irritate an 8ft tall leprechaun and almost ends up being the sex-toy of the leprechaun's sister. Needless to say, he finds an ingenious way of saving the day – and Roxanne! Good clean fun! Perfect to be enjoyed along with a nice cup of tea (my word, how very English of me!!!!). |
