It all begins when a drunken Cupid shoots the wrong guy with his arrow, not once, but twice. As a result, Bruce notices Roxanne. Well, he had noticed her before, after all, she's the handsome, but arrogant restaurant owner's best, prettiest, brainiest waitress. Now, he is encouraged to notice her. It's not long until the two are running for their lives from a pack of demented zombies searching for brains, exorcising the ghosts left over from a love triangle, and dealing with an amorous werewolf. Granted, this is a lightweight bit of silly fluff, but it's supposed to be. Although Bruce has about as many brains as a Ken doll, Roxanne has enough to share. If you're fond of Monty Python but wish there was a little romance, then this might be the right book for you. |
