Bruce Vincent owns a small omelette shop. Roxanne Rogers is his best, and ONLY, waitress. One night, following the accidental mixing of diner condiments with a gram of plutonium and a splash of toxic rain, the Zombies came to town. Surely no one could save the school football team and cheerleaders from having their brains eaten? Then Bruce and Roxanne stepped forward...

Zombie Invaders is that most unusual combination, a comedy-horror short story. We have Bruce and Roxanne, two larger than life characters. Bruce has the sexual attractiveness of an average ball of carpet fluff (to the entire female population with the noteable exception of Roxanne) an Roxanne is an intelligent young woman (despite being besotted by Bruce). The story reads like a synopsis of one of Troma’s best offerings. It is fun, refreshing and delightfully easy to read with the best means of defeating the bad guys since Frank Ifield yodelled the aliens to death in Mars Attacks!

If you have a few minutes free and want something quick, refreshing and jolly good fun to read then I recommend Bruce and Roxanne!
