Set on an American University Campus, this is a story of folklore, mystery, horror and love. Sara, a graduate student, studies and works in a small University. She meets and falls in love with a Professor of Folklore, and from that moment onwards is caught up in shocking events including four murders.

Characters
Strong, individual characters, simply and intelligently described. One character is overtly larger than life, but this does not detract from the storyline.

Plot
A solid plot, increasing pace steadily. An intriguing story, especially the interaction between the actual folklore stories and the authors imagination. I found the ending written to shock and not at all subtle.

General
An enjoyable read. The descriptions of the murders were excellent in being almost minimally described and thus giving the reader space to insert their own mental images. An intelligent horror novel, well worth reading.
