Two years ago, Kane Walker's shape-shifting partner in bounty hunting was killed, and he was left with faulty memories centered around a woman he saw. His search brings Kendall into his life, a vampire woman who hunts for the rogue vampires who prey on the innocent. The attraction between them is electric, but it their current problems are partially her fault, and until past mistakes are dealt with, nothing is safe for the two.

Though built around an intriguing premise, there is too much of a focus on raw language and sensuality. However, those who enjoy this book will be glad to know that there are ample threads left open to continue the series.
