Matthew Warner Information and Links
Matthew Warner has been writing since childhood, but didn't know he
wanted to be a horror writer until he won a high school contest sponsored by the
Fairfax Journal newspaper, near his home town of Burke, Virginia. Since then, he
has appeared in two dozen small-press publications and the anthologies Tourniquet Heart,
Extremes III and Stories of Fear III. He also coordinated the republication of
Lovecraft at Last, by H.P. Lovecraft and Willis Conover, and received a research acknowledgement
in In Search of Deep Throat: The Greatest Political Mystery of Our Time, by Leonard Garment,
a former Nixon White House counsel.
Although James Madison University gave him a journalism degree in 1995, he
now has more fun as an administrative assistant in Washington, DC. A resident of
Falls Church, Virginia, Matt is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Horror Professionals
and the Horror Writers Association. He is also a classically trained
pianist and blackbelt martial artist. He doesn't own any pets because he can
barely remember to water his plants. The Organ Donor is his first novel.
