Guidelines: Mission Statement: Bleeding Sky Magazine exists for amateur as well as professional authors to display their works of horror fiction to the world. Accepted Genres: Bleeding Sky Magazine is looking for short horror fiction. But, what is horror? Just some of the examples are thriller, suspense, psychological, gothic, and paranormal. Basically, we want stories that will frighten the reader and keep them on the edge of their seat. The reader must care what happens to the characters of your story. Above all, the story should be original. Stories that lack originality will be rejected. Length of Fiction: Submissions must be in the range of 1500 to 7500 words. Anything shorter or longer will be rejected. Content Restrictions: Bleeding Sky Magazine believes strongly in creative freedom. Therefore, there are no real restrictions towards content. However, clever dialogue is much more effective than profanity and a good plot will always be of higher value than sentence after sentence of meaningless gore. Please keep this in mind before submitting your story.
