We are currently closed for submissions of short fiction. As of this moment there is no date for re-opening for submissions.

For fiction submission, any story of a Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror theme with no restriction on minimum or maximum length. No overtly erotic content can be accepted, nor can a story with an excess of obscene language.

All work must be original. Any stories involving characters or situations from other writers' works will not be accepted irrespective of whether it infringes copyright.

Payment for a first publication of a story is 2 cents per word to a maximum payment of $40.

Payment for reprint rights (but first internet publication) of a story is 0.75 cents per word to a maximum payment of $30.

These are non-exclusive rights. If you can place your work again after we have published it then please do so. All we ask is that we retain the rights to keep your story posted on our sote for a minimum of 12 months from the date of upload. After this time the story will be removed at the request of the author.

We do not object to simultaneous submissions, please inform us if any story is accepted elsewhere and is hence unavailable for inclusion on our site - we can then accept a replacement submission from you in its place.

All submissions must be made electronically in MS Word 97 or RTF format. Please contact us to check we are accepting submissions before sending stories.

We also publish novel extracts to help promote authors' works. There is no payment for these but we hope they may encourage sales.

We at the moment have no plans for introducing payments for non-fiction or poetry submissions (due to the small budget we have for operating this site) although we are happy to receive submissions of these forms.

In addition, we also will host author bibliographies, review your work (novels and collections) for posting on our site and grant the authors full rights to use these reviews for quotes and promotional reasons.

Any published author who would like to take part in our Questionnaire style interviews would be welcomed. Please email us letting us know whether you are a predominately Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror writer.

We will also include any information on book releases or news of any author/publishing relating matter in our monthly Chronicle.
