BIOGRAPHY: Born in Waterloo, Iowa. Graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. Studied fiction writing under Nancy Price and Robley Wilson. Frequent attendee at Wiscon in Madison and Arcana in St. Paul, Minnesota. Lived in Atlanta, Georgia (1984-1987) and Madison, Wisconsin (1988-2001) before returning to Waterloo.
CURRENT PROJECTS (August 2001): Working on a sequel to BOURLAND titled DREAMS OF THE SNOW LEOPARD. Also at work on a non-fiction book FAMOUS WISCONSIN AUTHORS (due out in Spring 2002). Recently completed a non-fiction baseball book HOWLIN' WOLF!: A FAN'S HISTORY OF THE HIGHS AND LOWS DURING FIVE STORMY YEARS WITH THE MADISON BLACK WOLF.
